Liberty Cruise is a passenger vessel tour boat company that operates out of Manhattan & Brooklyn, New York. We are looking to hire a concession stand worker to sell concessions from different ships during normal operation. Applicants should have the ability to prepare food items (such as but not limited to popcorn, hotdogs, etc.) and also serve mixed drinks, beers, and wine. Professionalism, punctuality, and cleanliness are a must. Proficiency with Square is a big plus.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Demonstrate a friendly personality and good interpersonal skills.
• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for cruise guests.
• Interact with guests, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks.
• Assess guests’ needs and preferences and make recommendations.
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
• Assist with special events as needed.
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
• Promptly address customer service issues and refer guests to management when necessary.
• Knowledge of a second language is a plus.
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Must possess a service orientation - actively looking for ways to help others.
• Willingness to work for extended periods of time without sitting.
• Required to lift heavy items such as liquor boxes and ice bins up and down stairs.
• Responsible for bar till; proper cash handling is required.
• Will be required to be available for work on weekends and all major holidays.
• Team player.
• Available to work a variety of hours, days, and shifts, including weekends.
• Relevant training certificate

Job Types: Part-Time and Full-Time

Pay: $18/hr + tips
